Who is Field for?
Structural engineers and inspectors in New Zealand who monitor construction and need the evidence behind a PS4.
Does Field write the PS4?
No. Field compiles the inspection record and evidence. The producer statement is yours to sign.
What happens to my data if I stop?
It is yours, and you can export everything from Field at any time. On the free trial you have full access for 60 days, then 30 days of read-only access to export it, and the account is deleted 90 days after you register.
Why New Zealand only?
Field is built around New Zealand practice, the PS4 in particular, and is hosted for New Zealand companies.
Can we keep a copy on our own server?
Yes, with Field Drive, a small Windows app included with a paid licence. It copies every inspection as a .field file, the original photos and the finished report PDFs into folders you lay out, such as one per job, manually or hourly, daily or weekly. Its key can only read, never change anything in Field, and it never deletes your local copies. It is not part of the free trial.
